 Delsman has served as Business Agent without interruption for more than six years straight — 76 consecutive months. His consistency ensures Local 400’s voice remains strong and unified, with no breaks in representation or momentum. Like on the jobsite, experience in a role matters, and there’s no substitue for it.

Like on the jobsite, experience in a role matters, and there’s no substitue for it. 

During his tenure, in addition to a stint as Assistant Business Manager, Delsman served on committees that promoted the health and well being of every member of Local 400. He also has service under his belt as a member on committees representing members when fighting for higher wages, enhanced benefits, increased site safety, and improved working conditions.    Delsman understands the importance of quality-of-life benefits to members and their families.

His willingness to engage with business, education, and workforce leaders keeps Local 400 visible, respected, and positioned for long-term success.

 Delsman has been an elected delegate of Local 400  at state, national and international events 20 separate times. He is proud that members, his peers, voted for him to be a representative at the Wisconsin Pipe Trades Conference every year since 2009 and a three-time representative at the United Association National Convention.

 Delsman has been an elected delegate of Local 400  at state, national and international events 20 separate times. He is proud that members, his peers, voted for him to be a representative at the Wisconsin Pipe Trades Conference every year since 2009 and a three-time representative at the United Association National Convention.

Additionally, the United Association recruited Delsman to train other instructors at the 2019 Instructor Training Program.

Members trust Delsman to represent them and act on their behalf to protect the interests of Local 400 and its members.
